Catch Them Young is not a ministry, a group or any form of ministry, it was first established this year 2020 after investigating the conditions of our youths, teens and the little ones in our communities surrounding us, in order to help save the generation next from the impending destructive lifestyles this project was conceived. This project was born out of the desire to help parents and the church teach our children warnings from the Bible against some lifestyles responsible for their destruction if they choose to live by them. VISION: To get our children back into reading the word of God by printing it on their school exercise books and distributed to them FREE OF CHARGE. MISSION: Catch them young back into the kingdom of God, preventing them from destroying themselves by reaching out to them with the understanding of what it means to live those destructive lifestyles. A CRY FROM MY HEART OF HEART: Little did I know the reason why God took me to live in a place I considered inappropriate for me and my family, I live in a place you can call a ghetto, a place you see human being woke up with smoking and live by smoking, all manner of hot drinks and even drugs all through the day eating nothing good like food, children in the area look up to these ones and doesn’t know any other life style other than these mentioned above. I cry whenever I see those who supposed to be under their parental care coming to this place to smoke and drink, they come in looking good, healthy, well fed and well-dressed but just give them three months you see them becoming shadows of themselves, the once well-dressed become dressed almost in rags, having nothing good to eat but only drugs. You see young men and boys with promising future, you see future presidents, governors, doctors, professors, future great men and women, boys and girls, young ladies smoking and drinking their future away, languishing and wasting their future, this is sad indeed. The little ones must be prevented from going into this and that’s why we are on ground. Therefore, as already been said here, we want to stop the children who are not yet into it from going into it, the youths of these days are the target of the enemy these last days. We must stop the enemy from destroying our young ones. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In these last days and age that the world is fast growing Godless and the Word of God is fast eroding from the people’s lives even in the church, satanic activities everywhere you turned to, our children are growing up seeing and learning the ways and evil of this world faster than the ways of God, It is then advisable to take the Word of God to these children, unsuspectingly printed on the inside, outside cover and back pages of their exercise books respectively attractive pictures to match up with the message we intend to pass on the exercise books. If you can’t get them to open the bible to read and study, you can get them to read the Word of God unconsciously by getting it into their hands through those exercise books. We are creating a serious awareness and at the same time warnings on the consequences of some sinful lifestyles and activities that is destroying our children these last days. Topical issues like illicit sex, abortions, drug abuse, prostitution, cultism, stealing, robbery, fraud, internet fraud, lesbianism, gay and many more. We are bringing warnings from the Word of God against these lifestyles to our children via these exercise books. HOW THE PROJECT IS TO BE CARRIED OUT: We will deal with those topics mentioned above, for instance, we want to talk about smoking, we will put the picture of someone smoking on the front cover of the exercise book, with title like SMOKERS ARE LIABLE TO DIE YOUNG, then from the inside cover, outside cover and back pages of the exercise book contains the very dangerous and damning consequences of smoking, how destructive smoking can be, reasons why one should not get into such destructive activities and a way out if already into it. The same way we will be handling all other topics as mentioned above. We will be producing these books into different levels with different topics for the primary, the junior and the senior secondary school children and will be given out absolutely FREE OF CHARGE. Remember this project has nothing to do with being a church program, it has nothing to do with your church, youth department or the church children department, it is a project meant not to be carried out in the church, it is a street project, we want to meet these young ones on the streets and hand these materials to them free of charge on their various way to their respective schools. Your children in your churches are your responsibilities to teach them but if we meet them on the streets, we will equally reach out to them. We are inviting reputable organizations like the Church and all cooperate organizations with large hearts to partner with us in these journey. Individuals are also invited, reports will be sent to all our partners and sponsors on monthly basis. THE NEED TO CONTRIBUTE As responsible citizens, it is our duty to maintain balance in our society. A great way to contribute to the society is by helping Catch Them Young for Christ. By helping finance this project, we will be able to provide a better option to those who would have ended their lives through these destructive lifestyles. Furthermore, Catch Them Young Campaign is believed to help reduce the chances of the destruction of our young ones. Through this initiative, we discourage them from engaging themselves with these destructive lifestyles and activities. We are one of the best non profit organization in the world where we make sure that children are prevented from going to the streets and becoming criminals and problems to the society. We do this by talking to them on the risks and consequences of taking such decisions and how destructive it can be, we also give them exercise books branded with all these information, we also give out school materials and finally we are planning to go into talent hunt and sponsor so that we can help the talented ones to start early to achieve their goals in life. We have all these in place but we are starved of funds and donations are not coming forth. NON profit organization like our are rare these days and I don’t know why people are turning blind eyes. We have created videos with the same information we pass to these children so that we can reach to those who are outside our reach. You may not know, this may be what you need to complement your efforts in raising your children and other people’s children. OUR TARGET: Catch Them Young is targeted at young ones from the age 10 to age 19. BUDGET: What worth doing is worth doing well. Printing of materials to be distributed free of charge will require funding. We are going to use the funds gathered to print these exercise books. Thanks and God bless!
